We often get asked about what clothes fit Cabbage Patch dolls and with so many different incarnations of this special doll, it can be hard to keep up! Can you believe that the first Cabbage Patch Kids dolls were launched commercially back in 1983? Do you remember the craze that swept the world when they were the must-have toy that Christmas? In fact they hold the record for the most successful new doll introduction in the history of the toy industry!
Over the years many different variations of the Cabbage Patch Kids have been launched. They come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes now and despite a lull in popularity, their relaunch in 2004 has seen them develop an enduring appeal with a new generation of kids as well as sentimental Gen-Xers who have fond memories of them the first time round.
They generally have a soft-sculpted fabric body and vinyl head and range in size from 23cm to 46cm. To accommodate the varying shapes and sizes we have a special section for both the Cabbage Patch Kids clothes (46cm) as well as Little Cabbage Patch (35cm) clothes, which are the two most popular versions from 2004 and 2018.
The clothes and shoes in these sections may well fit other variations of the Cabbage Patch Kids doll. The best thing to do is to check your dolls measurements (see our guide on How To Measure Your Doll) and match it as closely as possible to determine which section to shop in.

While it is difficult to know with 100% certainty without measuring her as we don’t have this particular version ourselves to double check, it is most likely closest to the Little Cabbage Patch 35cm doll.

Remember it is best to err on the side of caution and make the clothes slightly larger too.

I am giving my granddaughter a Jojo Siwa Cabbagepatch doll for her 6th Birthday on June 26th. I wanted to make some summer pjs and another dress but am not sure which category she falls into. Is she normal size or infant size. She is still in box so it’s difficult to guess measurements. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
